Gaarawé is an experimental village that provides a meeting place for people to learn about permaculture and share experiences together. More than 2,500 friends from all over the world have participated over the past 5 years.
Now, we have the ambition to become even more than a place travellers can meet, enjoy and move on. It will take courage, time and commitment in the years to come.

Gaarawé has been built by thousands of volunteers, but there are some skills in particular that we need at this time in the village’s growth.
Time and money are useless without each other. We will need both to build a real community. Those with the courage and commitment to help the village on this difficult road become members of our family.
