About one hours. Aesthetics of the body but also very suitable for the kitchen. Learn how to make your own oil steps:
- Shell opening, cleaning and cutting the walnut
- Grate the coconut paste
- Prepare in suitable bags or bottles
The oil will be ready two or three days later depending on the sun.
This procedure can also be done cold using the refrigerator

Experiences
Have some wonderful itineraries of uncommon places to visit: caves, waterfalls, trekking, canoeing, big tree, fascinating temples, hot springs, the largest dam, and our beautiful river where we cool, we swim, and fishing.
Walking in the forest, in January, the Rafflesia , a flower, the largest in the world that was born only here. This is the most primitive forest of the planet
You will stay in bungalows built entirely with bamboo from our garden, surrounded by greenery and in harmony with the environment. You might come across small insects or geckos in the rooms: they are valuable natural companions, with geckos capable of eating up to 2,000 mosquitoes in a single night!
We are not a hotel but a sustainable community working to reduce the consumption of harmful products, both food-related and industrial. Here, a simple bar of soap is more than enough to take care of yourself, without the need for superfluous and polluting products.
Gaarawe is also a farm where volunteers from all over the world live and work. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to connect with them, sharing experiences and authentic moments of community life.

Rules
* Be aware that we are in a remote area, so it will be an adventure to get here but really pleasant if you are searching for a local immersion. Don’t worry, we can help you with any directions.
Thailand is a destination known for it and as a permaculture project, we depend on and respect that nature keeps its own life cycle. 🙂
We kindly ask those who go to the market daily not to be intrusive with snacks and sweeteners. If you wish to be kind to our guests, please refrain from offering food, medication, sugar, or processed foods, and do not bring plastic into this precious forest. We are not fanatics, but we strive for ethics as permaculture teaches us. This is our mission.
